Detailed Description
Shadow masks are mainly divided into two types: hole shaped shadow masks and stripe grid shaped shadow masks. The
perforated shadow mask display shows finer and more accurate images; The color of the striped shadow mask display should
be brighter. The perforated shadow mask is made of ultra-thin steel plate covered with regular small holes, and its key
parameter is the dot pitch, which is the distance between the centers of two adjacent fluorescent dots of the same color.
A grid like shadow mask (also known as a shadow grid) uses vertically arranged thin metal lines (grid bars) instead of holes,
and its key parameter is the Grille Pitch, which refers to the distance between the centerline of adjacent gratings of the same
color in the horizontal direction. The manufacturing of shadow masks mainly adopts the process of chemical etching on
metal substrates.
